Rock and Bone

When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them the truth - I shoot dinosaurs and rocks! O.k., I 'photograph' them. But, sometimes I like to make a little impact when referring to my work because it really is interesting. I get to play with the things that are normally kept behind the glass at museums and galleries. How many people get to handle a T-Rex and ask it to "smile"?

This is a Double-Terminated Amethyst Quartz from a mountain in Namibia, Africa.
The purple color 'ghosts' into the clear quartz.
